Keifer Thompson was born and raised in Miami, Oklahoma. He met Shawna, from Chatom, Alabama, during a singing contest in Nashville, Tennessee. On 12 July 2010, they released their second solitary, "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not" co-written by David Lee Murphy and Jim Collins. The single reached the top spot Country and is certified by the Recording Industry Association of America. Their first album Thompson Square released on February 8, 2011. It was produced by Jason Aldean3. Their third single "I Got You" was released on 9 May 2011.
